Social Media Clips
Create an extraordinary and unconventional Christmas campaign and installation for stilwerk, a luxury furniture store, in all three locations: Hamburg, Berlin, and Düsseldorf. It should explore a new path, be different and avoid normal Christmas clichés and appeal to the guests of the store in a new and surprising way.
Approach
The Shelter of Love is a modern design nativity scene. Each character in the nativity scene was abstracted, reinterpreted into a spatial installation and branded with a unique identity. We aimed to create a joyful campaign which connected the traditional roles of the nativity scene with relevant topics such as privacy issues, communication in the digital age, and societal watchdogs.

My Role
As an external designer, I joined the agency Letters Are My Friends and Leon Schniewind to create the campaign and art direction team. We developed a modular concept aimed to be joyful, full of energy, and unique. I planned and created all motion aspects which were played over Instagram, on the digital signage inside the stores, on the website, and on the LED screen covering the house facade in Berlin. Students from KISD were responsible for creating the installation.
